Description

The City is in receipt of the above Development Application. The application proposes to remove and decommission the existing 27m lattice tower and erect a 30m monopole.

The application proposes to remove and decommission the existing 27m lattice tower and erect the following:

  • 30m monopole;
  • Circular headframe at the 30m level accommodating six (6) antennas and three (3) remote radio units;
  • Triangular headframe at the 25m level accommodating thirty-six (36) remote radio units and associated ancillary equipment;
  • Ancillary equipment necessary for the operation and proper functioning of the facility such as feeder cables and redirection of cable trays; and
  • Relocated security chain-mesh fencing.

Why is this Development Application being advertised to seek public comment?

Please be advised that the application is required to be advertised by the City for a period of 21 days (calendar days) in accordance with the City’s Planning Consultation Procedure and the Planning and Development (Local Planning Schemes) Regulations 2015.

The City has sent letters to adjoining landowners/ occupiers who are potentially impacted by the proposed variations identified above.
