Bradley Reserve toilet block demolition

Consultation has concluded

The City of Stirling plans to demolish the public toilet block at Bradley Reserve in Doubleview, which has been closed for almost 10 years.

The reserve is classified through the City's Public Open Space Strategy a ‘local level reserve', which wouldn’t normally include toilet facilities given its size, small-scale, and local usage.

The facilities were built in the 1970s to provide changing and toilet amenities to netball groups who used the grounds until the 1990s.

The facilities were closed in 2010 following significant levels of antisocial behaviour, which required the City, WA Police and other agencies to intervene. Since its closure there have no community requests for the toilet to be reopened.

Before these facilities are demolished, we would like to understand whether the community supports this demolition, or whether the facilities should be refurbished and retained.

Please refer to the FAQs and other information on the right of the page and then complete the online survey below.

The feedback from this consultation will be incorporated in a report to Council to inform the final decision about the public toilet facility at Bradley Reserve.
