If I lodge a written objection to the proposal within the consultation period, what happens next?
The Council may not request the Minister for Lands to proceed with this proposal unless such a written objection is first reported to Council for consideration. Following consideration of such a written objection, the Council may:
• Resolve to request the Minister to proceed with the proposal;
• Resolve not to request the Minister to proceed with the proposal;
• Make such other lawful decision as considered appropriate by the Council.
If the 194m² of land is amalgamated into the Dog Swamp Shopping Centre, will the shopping centre be able to include this land in future development of the shopping centre?
