Description

The City is seeking public comment on this Development Application as it proposes variations to Local Planning Policy 5.7 – Karrinyup Regional Centre Design Guidelines.

The City is seeking public comment with regards to the following variations only:

  • Minimum three (3) metre setback to Davenport Street and Francis Avenue from the residential component of the development.
  • Minimum 15 metre setback to Davenport Street and Francis Avenue for development in excess of three (3) storeys in height.

What forms of advertising have been carried out?

The City has advertised this application in accordance with the City’s Planning Consultation Procedure.

In addition to advertising the application on the City’s website, the City has sent letters to adjoining landowners who are potentially impacted by the proposed variations identified above.

Who will decide this application?

The decision-maker for this development application is the Metropolitan North-West Joint Development Assessment Panel (JDAP). JDAP is administered by the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage to determine planning applications, if the development value is over a certain threshold.

Before JDAP makes a decision, the City of Stirling will consider the application and make recommendation to JDAP through a Responsible Authority Report.
